The role of the Premises Relationship Officer, Space & Premises, is to effectively manage all commercial and retail customers of the terminal. The Premises Relationship Officer will primarily act as a tenant liaison officer for the organization. The officer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks: Leasing management, tenant management, commercial management, financial management, facility management and debt management. He / She will ensure proper customer relationship management with tenants and concessionaires by efficiently combining both roles of a Property Managing Agent and a Customer Service Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market vacant spaces to prospective tenants.
Develop business opportunities.
Implement retail property strategies and bring in new tenants.
Prepare marketing proposals and lease offers.
Makes sure all vacant spaces are in tenantable and presentable states.
Ensure leases are renewed on a timely basis.
Facilitate speedy processes for the execution of new lease agreements and lease
renewals.
Set-up and maintain customer files in a standardized format.
Facilitate speedy and efficient access to customer and business information.
Ensure timely collection of all receivables.
Constant follow up on tenants’ debt recovery and ageing arrears.
Ensure prompt payment of electricity and utility bills by tenants.
Manage cost budget to achieve cost reduction targets.
Log/report and evaluate all customer complaints/issues.
Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of all customer complaints/issues.
Deal with correspondence and interaction with clients as required.
Process work permits and letters of authorisation for tenants’ construction projects,
repairs, renovations, installations and goods movement.
Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
Control and oversee new installations, renovations and constructions.
Attend site meetings with clients preparatory to fit out or renovations works.
Develop ways to improve the aesthetics of the terminal’s leasable spaces.
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients & building key customer relationships.
Manage relationships with assigned list of customers.
Assist the HOD on all administrative, marketing, operational & business functions.
Keeps HOD well informed of area of activities, major developments and significant
problems.
Undertake other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Submit weekly tenancy and property management reports and ensure data is accurate.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
B.Sc./HND degree in relevant field is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience.
Must meet the highest work ethics standard. Personal integrity, capacity for discretion
and demonstrate confidentiality.
Previous experience in this field is an added advantage.
