SENIOR AVIATION SECURITY

The Senior Aviation Security Officer (SASO) is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport infrastructure through constant surveillance, access control, and enforcement of security protocols. This role involves managing entry and exit points, supporting emergency response, handling crowd control, profiling passengers, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all security control points. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in aviation security, excellent screening and intelligence-gathering skills, and the ability to manage both people and situations calmly and professionally. Experience as an AVSEC Screener, CCTV Personnel, Crime Prevention Officer, or IQC Officer will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensure constant surveillance within and around the terminal and across all entry and exit points. 

• Provide support with access control, patrolling and guarding, and profiling of passengers, gathering intelligence, crowd control, and emergency response. 

• Daily activities report. 

• Traffic management and enforcement of No Pick-up at the Drop-off zone. 

• Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures at Security Control Points (Access Control). 

• Excellent passenger and baggage Screening.

 Qualification and Experience: 

• Minimum qualification is HND/BSc, MSc will be an added advantage. 

• Hold at least 8 - 12 years as an Aviation Security Officer. 

• Possess excellent customer management skills. 

• IQC Officer, to "being an AVSEC Screener/CCTV personnel. 

• Being an AVSEC Screener/CCTV Personnel/Crime Prevention Officer is an added Advantage.
